Country Ridge Ranch House Bed and Breakfast in Oyama, British Columbia, was constructed by the owner and his son. Owner Terry Tranfield is a carpenter as well as a 25-year carpentry instructor at Okanagan College, and son Morgan Tranfield is an electrician.
Constructing this home has been a labour of love for several years. Each detail is well thought out and planned for guest comfort and enjoyment and its beauty and convenience greet you at every turn.
Terry conceived the concept of the Country Ridge Bed & Breakfast building and he has painstakingly worked on the house, always with the vision of an elegant country home. With his background as a carpenter, teacher and avid fisherman, Terry can regale his guests with stories of fishing, farming or building projects to their heart's content!
Robby has worked alongside Terry throughout the construction of the house. Robby's background as a home economist, school administrator and teacher will ensure that you are provided with wonderful meals, a well-run facility and lots of stories from her as well! Robby is also an avid quilter who has sold several original works, as well decorated the house with some of her beautiful quilts. |
